Donation Terms and Conditions

Ethiopian Community Enrichment Center (ECEC)

Thank you for supporting the Ethiopian Community Enrichment Center (ECEC). Your generosity helps us strengthen our mission to empower, educate, and uplift the Ethiopian community and beyond. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making a donation.

1. General

By making a donation to ECEC, you agree to these terms and conditions. ECEC is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting community development, cultural enrichment, and educational opportunities.

2. Donations

• All donations made to ECEC are voluntary and non-refundable.

• Donations can be made online, by check, by cash, or through other approved payment platforms (e.g., Zelle, PayPal, etc.).

• You agree to provide accurate information when submitting your donation.

3. Use of Funds

Your donation will be used to support ECEC’s ongoing programs and initiatives, including but not limited to:

• Community education and youth programs

• Cultural events and enrichment activities

• Support services for families and new immigrants

• Operational and facility maintenance costs

ECEC reserves the right to allocate funds where they are most needed to fulfill its mission.

4. Tax-Deductible Contributions

ECEC is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

• All eligible donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

• Donors will receive a receipt confirming their contribution amount and tax-deductible status.

5. Donor Privacy

ECEC respects your privacy.

• Personal information collected during the donation process will only be used for record-keeping, issuing receipts, and communicating updates related to ECEC activities.

• ECEC will not sell, trade, or share donor information with any third parties.

6. Recurring Donations

If you opt for recurring donations:

• You authorize ECEC to automatically charge your selected payment method on the chosen schedule.

• You may modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us at ecec@ethiocec.org.

7. Refund Policy

As donations are considered voluntary gifts, refunds are not typically provided. However, if an error occurs (such as duplicate payments), please contact us within 7 business days at ecec@ethiocec.org for review.

8. Acknowledgment and Public Recognition

ECEC may acknowledge donors publicly (e.g., on its website or event programs).
If you prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate this when making your donation or contact us directly.

9. Amendments

ECEC reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our official website or by request.
